Weir Filter Installation

The Water Decontaminator Weir Catch Basin Filter can be installed in all types of storm drain catch basins. Here we show one being installed under a square grate. The WD Weir Catch Basin Filter is a patented, environmental product that is placed under the catch basin grate to help remove trash, sediment, oil and contaminants from runoff. Oil and contaminants are captured in a disposable cartridge. The absorber cartridge uses recycled forest products, essentially fighting pollution with pollution. These units include the 5mm screened bypass to help remove floating debris.

Applications:

  • Urban run-off

  • Roadways

  • Parking lots

  • Industrial sites

  • Manufacturing

  • Maintenance areas

Helps clean parking lot run-off, catch basins, ponds, sumps and spills. Cleans storm run-off by screening sediment, debris and other solids into a sediment trap. Oils and chemicals are absorbed in a disposable cartridge
