The Valley Inlet Water Decontaminator Catch Basin Filter - Trash Capture Unit (WD-TCU) is a patented, environmental product that is placed under a catch basin grate to help remove trash, sediment, oil and contaminants from runoff at a low point, or valley, where two street surfaces or sloped areas meet. This makes it ideal for locations such as a street intersection or areas where there is a change in grade. Oil and contaminants in runoff are captured in a disposable cartridge. The absorber cartridge uses recycled forest products, essentially fighting pollution with pollution.

Helps clean parking lot run-off, catch basins, ponds, sumps and spills. Cleans storm run-off by screening sediment, debris and other solids into a sediment trap. Oils and chemicals are absorbed in a disposable cartridge.

The Water Decontaminator is engineered and patented for the treatment of stormwater run off. We design our filters to meet or exceed stormwater best management practices (BMP’s) and best available technology (BAT). These units are certified and included in the Capture System List of Trash Treatment Control Devices by the California State Water Resources Control Board.

Important Measurements

To insure a proper fit, all the items on the form should be filled in.

OD-L: Outside length of lip

OD-W: Outside width of lip

ID-W: Inside width of opening. This is the smallest clear hole inside the catch basin. Take into account any rough concrete or restrictions.

ID-L: Inside length of opening. This is the smallest clear hole inside the catch basin. Take into account any rough concrete or restrictions.

GR-L: Grate Length

GR-W: Grate Width

D: Depth of catch basin. Measure depth from the grate to the top of the liquid level. (Rectangular only)

Also note if there are any other issues that may need to be considered for fitment. For example access ladders, pipes or other restrictions.
