The Round Grate Water Decontaminator Catch Basin Filter - Trash Capture Unit (WD-TCU) is a patented, environmental product that is placed under a round catch basin grate to help remove trash, sediment, oil and contaminants from runoff. Oil and contaminants are captured in a disposable cartridge. The absorber cartridge uses recycled forest products, essentially fighting pollution with pollution.

Helps clean parking lot run-off, catch basins, ponds, sumps and spills. Cleans storm run-off by screening sediment, debris and other solids into a sediment trap. Oils and chemicals are absorbed in a disposable cartridge

The Water Decontaminator is engineered and patented for the treatment of stormwater run off. We design our filters to meet or exceed stormwater best management practices (BMP’s) and best available technology (BAT). These units are certified and included in the Capture System List of Trash Treatment Control Devices by the California State Water Resources Control Board.

Important Measurements

To insure a proper fit, all the items on the form should be filled in.

OD: Outside diameter of lip. This is the measurement of where the grate sits when installed.

ID: Inside diameter of opening. This is the smallest clear hole inside the catch basin. Take into account any rough concrete or restrictions.

A: Drop ring dimensions. Most grates are flat on the bottom, but if it does have a drop ring or other reinforcement bars on the bottom these need to be measured to insure clearance for the WD-TCU support frame.

B: Drop ring depth. Measure the part of the grate that extends below the lip it sits on. This is not the full thickness of the cover.

C: Depth of catch basin. Measure depth from the grate to the top of the liquid level.

Also note if there are any other issues that may need to be considered for fitment. For example access ladders, pipes or other restrictions.
